Woburn Safari Park is a drive through wildlife park nestled in over 300 acres of beautiful Bedfordshire parkland. 

Admission to the park includes the Road Safari drive through expansive parkland reserves to see some of the world's most endangered animals, including rhinos, tigers, lions and giraffe. 

You will continue your journey in the Foot Safari where you'll discover animal enclosures and habitats and can watch fascinating keeper talks and demonstrations. 

Explore the Leisure Area and enjoy fun activities like Swan Boats, the Great Woburn Railway, and outdoor play areas all included in your ticket price.  

2022 Opening Hours:

From 10th Feb to 4th March: Open daily from 9.30am to 4pm, with last entry to the Park and Road Safari at 3pm.

From 5th March to 26th March: Open daily from 9.30am to 4.45pm, with last entry to the Park and Road Safari at 4pm

From 27th March to 15th October: Open daily from 9.30am to 5.45pm, 
with last entry to the Park and Road Safari at 5pm

Safety 

Woburn Safari Park is taking every necessary precaution to safeguard the health and wellbeing of visitors, staff, and animals.

The following precautions remain in place:

  • Tickets are available to purchase online to reduce all unnecessary contact with ticket lane cashiers
  • Numbers of tickets are limited to 40% of previous capacity, to ensure safe volumes of visitors in the Park
  • You MUST wear a face covering to enter Land of Lemurs. This applies to ages 3+ years of age and is based on vet advice because lemurs are vulnerable to Covid-19. 
  • As per the Government advice, we recommend that visitors wear face coverings in any indoor areas within the Park
  • The UK Government has announced an Avian Influenza Prevention zone View the Avian Influenza Precaution Measures in place at Woburn Safari Park here.

Disabled Concessionary Admission

Tickets are available for one disabled individual plus one carer and are only available to buy online in advance. 

Proof of disability is required in the form of a DLA, DWP or PIP letter, blue badge, or an original letter from a registered care home, nursing home or hospice. If a second carer is required (your documentation should support this) an additional ticket can be purchased at the gate.

Please do not ask staff to make a judgement by any other means, this is unfair to staff and they will politely refuse to make any discrimination or judgement without official documentation.

Road Safari

Transport around the animal reserves is in your own car/minibus/coach. All vehicles take the same route and the drive takes approximately one hour. You can repeat the Road Safari route through the reserves as many times as you like during your visit.

Disabled Parking


There are 19 parking bays for blue badge holders in the main Leisure Area car park.

 

Disabled Toilets


These are located at the main entrance to the park, in the Safari Restaurant, and in the courtyard block by Junglies gift shop.

A radar key system is in place for the disabled toilets in the courtyard, please ask a member of staff in Junglies Gift Shop for the key, there will be a returnable £5 desposit for use. Or please feel free to use your own radar key, should you have one.

Changing facilities for larger children and adults are available in the first aid room, please ask staff in Junglies Gift Shop for a key and state your requirements. Unfortunately, there is no hoist equipment available for use.

Safari Restaurant - Open for takeaway only


All entrances allow disabled access and the food counter is also accessible. Some tables are available with movable seating to enable wheelchair access and staff are happy to assist with taking trays to tables.

Junglies Gift Shop 


Most aisles are accessible by wheelchair. Staff are also happy to assist disabled visitors tour the shop on a 'one to one' basis wherever possible, helping them with their shopping.

First Aid


Please approach any member of Woburn staff who will immediately contact one of the qualified first aiders on site.

Hearing Loops


Hearing loops are fitted at till points throughout the Safari Park.

Assistance Dogs


No pets or dogs are permitted into the Safari Park and kennel facilities are not provided. Assistance dogs are only allowed to enter very limited areas of the Safari Park and may not enter the Road Safari or any animal enclosures in the Foot Safari.
