Personal Budgets for Social Care (Direct Payments):

A child or young person who is assessed as having a social care need, can be eligible to get A Personal Budget for Social Care (sometimes referred to as a Direct Payment). The budget could be used to get personalised support at home and/or when out and about in the community, it could be used for respite (day care or overnight), activities in the home and/or community or for personal care needs.
