Inclusive Sports Day for Bedford Borough SEND Families Sat 12th August 1pm to 4pm

We are anticipating up to 300 Bedford Borough SEND families attending this coming Saturday with a huge variety of special needs. As we want this day to be a ‘whole family’ event where siblings can join in too it is obviously going to be very busy. This will be a non-judgemental environment as everyone has an awareness of the SEND community in Bedford.

We have tried to ensure that there are some quieter activities and spaces for families whose children may struggle. We have also tried to make it as inclusive as possible but, as with everything, we know we won’t be able to meet everyone’s individual needs. We just wanted to let you all know before the event so that you can anticipate how your child might cope and you can prepare them,please see the map of the day below
