Mix & Scratch DJ Workshops

Mix and Scratch is a new and exciting venture offered by our delivery partner Musical Seeds and supported by Bedford Borough Council through HAF funding. It involves four days of DJ workshops during which young people will have access to DJ equipment and software and learn key skills of DJing across a range of musical styles. They will learn about the history of DJing, setting up equipment, beat matching, scratching, synchronising, effects, sampling, mixing, layering, tempo, song structure and performing.  Mix and Scratch is free and open to all young people aged 9 to 16 who are in receipt of benefit-related free school meals. A free lunch is provided on each day.
