Monday 14th June 2021 10am-12pm Online Triple P workshop Managing Fighting and Aggression

For Parents and Carers of Children aged 3yrs to 12yrs

It is normal for children to have disagreements or arguments but when children fight there is a risk of someone getting hurt. The important thing is that children learn to get along with others and this is a skill that parents can teach their children by having clear limits and boundaries and setting good examples. When children are arguing or fighting or even become aggressive it can be hard for parents to know when to step in and calm things down. So for example are you facing problems such as your children fighting over the same toy, name calling and maybe constant teasing . We want our children to learn to play well together, solve problems, or arguments themselves without parents always having to be involved.

So what is this workshop all about?
The managing fighting and aggression workshop is a two hour stand alone workshop where you will meet other parents experiencing similar issues. You will receive lots of positive tips and strategies proven to work with all families. These group sessions will be relaxed and informal; you can contribute as much or as little as you want. We will watch some video clips of common parenting issues, have a chat about these, share some tips and ideas and you choose the strategies you feel with work with your family
