FACE TO FACE SENCO's In Bedford (SIB) session As with any year there will be a number of SENCo’s who have come into post midterm and there will be some that are due to start in September. In order to support SENCo’s we are pleased to offer the SENCo's in Bedford (SIB) Programme to schools. This is a multi-team programme which has been designed to support new SENCo’s within the borough. As a SENCo there are lots of local procedures and pathways to understand and the idea of this programme is to support SENCo’s to help navigate around this system. This year we are pleased to offer this programme at zero cost to schools – all that is required is regular attendance by the SENCo. We are mindful that SEN staff are often overwhelmed with training, but this programme will support a much more bespoke and structured CPD programme. To book email schoolimprovement@bedford.gov.uk
