Tracy Kovacs - childminder

I was graded Outstanding in all 14 areas by Ofsted during my inspection in September 2008 and received Outstaning again in 2015.  My vacancies have arisen due to employing an assistant.

We offer a home from home experience in a safe, fun environment with real-life learning experiences; cooking, shopping, gardening, trips to the park, the library, local community groups, the river and bus rides… just because they are fun! We offer each child lots of individual attention and meet individual feeding and sleep requirements. We also have lots of patience when your child is learning to walk, talk, feed themselves and use a potty. We have a fully equipped Arts and Crafts room, a 24ft lounge, a large play room and a garden with a 10ft enclosed trampoline as well as a play house with a home corner in it. There is a children's playground opposite the house which we use at least once a week.

We also run an after school Arts crafts and Activities Club, we collect children from Elstow Lower at 3pm or your child can be dropped to us at 3.30pm. Activities include, Card Making, Clay Modelling, Salt Dough, Sand Art, Foam Crafts, Paper Mache, Flower Pressing, Model making and many more. We do sports activities in the park, we have games evenings, a Wii area with age appropriate games, we will celebrate your child’s birthday and  host a Friday night popcorn and movie night. We provide home cooked, nutritional evening meals. 

We have recently aquired an allottment, where the children can join in with planting and caring for the things we grow.
