Autism Bedfordshire - Skills 4 Success programme Communication and Social Skills
Communication And Social Skills Course
Our Skills4Success programme aims to provide young people aged 16 -19 with lower level needs the opportunity to learn and develop their skills alongside accessing social opportunities within the community
We aim to empower the learners, reduce anxieties, build confidence and independence and develop skills which will be transferable as they approach adulthood
Our skills courses offer an alternative, smaller and quieter environment for learning and can be adapted to suit the needs of the individual. Most of our skills courses will run for approximately 6 weeks and follow a planned scheme of work.
Communication and Social Skills Course
Being able to communicate effectively is perhaps the most important of all life skills. It is what enables us to pass information to other people and to understand what is said to us.
This is an opportunity for young people to develop their communication and social skills with their peers in a fun and safe environment.
