FREE Online Exercise Session for Young People - replacing young minds yoga at John Bunyan Sports and Fitness Coronavirus update
There is a FREE online exercise session for young people that has been launched and tested as a pilot in the last couple of weeks. It was an extension of the adult online exercise classes that have proved very popular at this difficult time and designed as a replacement for the successful young minds yoga that was taking place at John Bunyan Sports and Fitness.
The young mind yoga has been running through lockdown and providing a safe space to socialise, get active and relax the body and mind. The sessions are changing time to accommodate those now back at school and college. Now 4-5.30pm every Thursday. The session is completely free and anyone (aged 13-18) is welcome to join for as little or as long as you wish.
The session is a secured zoom session which is password protected and has a waiting room. Anyone who is interested in attending must register with CAMHs via email with their name, age and email address. The session has a waiting room and only those registered are admitted to take part. The session is available for 13-19 year olds. The initial feedback from young people has been positive and they have been involved in the format and design of the activity.
