Jodies Childminding - childminder.

I work with an assistant in my wonderful home in Wilstead we both have a passion for childcare and ensure we provide children with a safe and stimulating environment, we are both level 3 childcare qualified and first aid trained. We have the knowledge to support children with their learning whilst ensuring they are cared for in a home from home setting; meeting all OFSTED’S requirements.

We have a separate playroom and have free flow play downstairs in our home. We love spending time in our enclosed garden doing forest activities such as making dens, bug hunting and various other exciting activities we have learnt from forest school training. We grow fruit and vegetables in the garden and taste them at snack times!

We have a wide range of age appropriate toys and activities for everyday play, we plan our days around the children’s interests, including arts and crafts, messy play, cooking, small world play, singing and dancing. We learn through play ensuring the children have fun whilst learning new skills every day. We like to get out and about we go for walks, play at the parks and visit the local garden centre and farm.

We complete learning journals so you don’t miss what your children are up too whilst in our care, it also supports the children’s learning and development.

We were graded Outstanding at our last Ofsted Inspection.
