Carers in Bedfordshire - Discount card Coronavirus update
7th April 2020
Carers in Beds are still accepting Carers discount card applications details below
The Carers discount card was launched to help you save money and do more. Many carers with the card use it as proof that they are a carer.
We know that when you're looking after someone, money is often tight and it can be hard to get out and do things. The Carers discount card was launched to help you save money and do more. Many carers with the card use it as proof that they are a carer.
The card is available to unpaid carers who live in Bedford Borough or Central Bedfordshire - you just show or mention your card. The person you care for does not need to be present. Carers look after a relative, partner, friend or neighbour who is ill, frail or disabled who depends on them to help with everyday tasks.
Foster carers or people who are paid to work in care homes or domiciliary services are not eligible unless they are also unpaid carers.
