Wootton Library - Coronavirus Response

We have reopened our new opening hours are:

Tuesday and Thursday 10am to 12:30pm

The libraries have been rearranged to allow social distancing and there is a one-way system in place. There is a limit on the number of people who can be in the library at any one time, so you may be asked to queue. To ensure the safe use of the library, a reduced range of stock will be accessible and not all services will be available. Once you’ve chosen your books you can borrow them using the self-service machines.

We’ve reduced the number of PCs in use to allow social distancing. Customers will be able to book one 45-minute session per day. You can book a session using the online booking form:

https://bedford.imil.uk/

When you visit the library, please:

  • Queue with at least 2 metres between you and the next person
  • Wear a face covering, unless you have a legitimate reason not to
  • Use the hand sanitiser provided
  • Scan the NHS Test and Trace QR poster using your smartphone, or complete a NHS Test and Trace form
  • Follow social distancing rules
  • Help other customers by not staying longer than you need to.
