Lomack House

Lomack House can provide residential care for up to nine adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities who may also have mental health care needs and behaviours that challenge services. The majority of staff are qualified to NVQ level 3. The home can also access support from various specialist services to ensure the complex needs of our service users are holistically and fully met.

The house is situated in Kempston, a small town on the edge of Bedford, in a residential area within walking distance of local shops, a swimming pool and parks. All service users have their own room and the home also has communal lounges, a dining room, kitchen and bathrooms. There is a very regular bus service to Bedford which has good rail links, shops and a variety of leisure and community facilities.

There is a house vehicle available and service users all have individual therapeutic and activity programs including attending local colleges, work placements, specialist day care, social clubs and leisure facilities.
