Christ Church Preschool

At Christ Church Pre-School, we aim to provide a safe and caring environment in which we offer opportunities for children to learn and develop emotionally, intellectually and physically. We encourage varied play in order to gain confidence and independence and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

Christ Church Pre-School is a well established group providing a child centred setting for up to 28 children aged 2 - 5 years old. It is managed by an elected committee of pre-school parents and friends and employs 6 staff members.

Christ Church Pre-School benefits from the experience and stability of a long standing staff team and a high adult : child ratio.

Staff endeavour to provide an environment in which all children are supported to reach their full potential. Children enjoy taking part in special events which take place in the pre-school calendar, such as the Autumn walk, Nativity Play, Easter Bonnet Parade and Summer outings.

We want children to enjoy all the opportunities at Christ Church Pre-School and to feel safe stimulated and happy and to feel secure and comfortable with staff. We also want parents to have confidence in both their children's well being and their role as partners with the setting. We hope to make the setting a welcoming place where children settle quickly and easily because consideration has been given to the individual needs and circumstances of children and their families.
