#NoBarriers: Disability Tennis at Riverside

#NoBarriers: Open Court Disability Tennis at Riverside

Our aim is to inspire everyone to play tennis. Whatever your ability [we prefer to talk about ability not disability] there is always something at Riverside that you can get involved in. We are one of a small number of Clubs in the Country that are part of the Open Court Disability Tennis Network. Alongside the sessions we run the club has a good social scene and you can make new friends easily.

DISABILITY TENNIS GROUPS

We run the following sessions at Riverside:

Wheelchair Tennis for Children & Adults

Tennis for Children & Adults with a Learning Disability

Tennis for Children & Adults with Down's Syndrome

Tennis for Juniors & Adults with Autism

Tennis for Adults with a Visual Impairment

Zoom Fitness & Movement Classes

We keep costs to a minimum due to our funding from the Tennis Foundation. Please feel free to get in touch with us if you’d like to know more or want to come for a free trial. You can check out our Spring 2022 programme here  which runs from the 11th January to 1st April 2022 excluding  half term.

OUTREACH WORK

We have great relationships with local schools and support groups in the area. We can help offer tennis to more people in the area by setting up sessions in schools, clubs and at other organisations who might not be able to make it down to Riverside Tennis Club. Get in touch with us for more info.
