Childminder with SEND experience
I have recently registered as a childminder after almost 20 years working as a special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) teacher, specialising in early years for much of that time.
I offer a safe, inclusive and enjoyable home from home environment where children can explore their interests and learn through play. Children enjoy a range of interesting, multisensory activities as well opportunities to take part in outings and events.
Children are encouraged to join in with preparing healthy meals and snacks, as well as cooking for special occasions.
I live in Wixams and can offer school drop off and collection from Wixams Tree Primary School.
I am also able to offer specialist tuition for children who need additional support to develop their literacy, numeracy, communication and attention skills by arrangement.
