Bedford Borough Register for Children and Young People with Disabilities
What is the register used for?
Registering your child on the Bedford Borough Children's and Young People Disability Register helps Bedford Borough Council to identify and plan for the needs of children with disabilities and their families. The register is used to help Bedford Borough Council plan and monitor services
How do I register my child on the register?
If you are the parent of, or have parental responsibility for, a child or young person with a disability or additional need, you can get their details added to the register by completing a registration form, which is available from the download section on the right hand side of this page.
There are two options to apply for the card
1. You can print the form, complete it and scan it over to Local.Offer@bedford.gov.uk, and attach a recent photo.
2. Print the form, complete and attach a head and shoulder passport sized photo of your child, and post to
Sorcha O'loughlin Children’s Services, 5th Floor, Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street, Bedford, MK42 9AP
