UR JOURNEY

We are an independent school, offering full-time education as well as part-time places to young people who need an alternative approach to education.

We initially opened our doors as an alternative provision in October 2016 and worked with secondary schools to offer a part-time programme to support young people who were at risk of exclusion from school and also those who had already been excluded.

That work flourished and was recognised as having a positive impact on the young people we worked with and in August 2017 E-Spired progressed to become a full-time Independent School registered with the Department of Education.

In April 2018, during our first academic year as a registered Independent School, Ofsted rated E-Spired as a GOOD school across all the Independent School Standards; for more details see the Ofsted report here Ofsted Report April 2018

OUR MISSION

The overall aim of E-Spired is to provide young people with the support, care and resources to commit to hard work, to fulfil their potential.  We do this by providing a holistic approach to engaging with young people through a young leader’s development programme, an inspiring work experience placement underpinned by a mentor relationship.
