RAF Museum London

Recent review 6th August from Milton Keynes Kids

"We went to RAF Hendon last Friday after seeing a review on Milton Keynes Kids. I have to say that it was brilliant. Tickets are free and I paid for all day parking at £6 online however if you aren't sure how long you will need you can pay on exit. The Covid measures in place were excellent, clear and well enforced. The one way system around the hangers were clearly marked with little red planes which my little boy (3) loved following around. There were lots of hand sanitizing points all around the site and on the gate of the outside playground that was open. The playground was brilliant with some fantastic pieces of equipment but we did find some children were unsupervised so just a warning to be vigilant! The cafe was open for drinks and take way food ( face mask was required for adults here and in the shop) and there are lots of seats and tables for picnic with a good range of sun and shade which was appreciated last friday . Some of the interactive bits and narrow passages to view cockpit etc were understandably closed but this didn't detract from our enjoyment and we are looking forward to going again"

We can't wait to welcome you.

Our London playground will open daily from 10.00am to 5.00pm.

In accordance with current government guidance about Covid-19 we strongly advise that you wear a face covering in our galleries, restaurant* and shop, unless exempt from doing so.

You do not need to wear one when outside in our green spaces, unless it makes you more comfortable to do so. We would also ask that when in our buildings that our visitors be aware of others around them and where possible maintain a social distance of 1 metre.

*Except when seated.

Please note: The Museum regularly undertakes a programme of maintenance and conservation, so some exhibits or Hangars may be temporarily inaccessible. If you are visiting us to see something specific, please contact us in advance to ensure it that it is on display and available for public viewing

SATNAV Users

Currently several SatNav systems have incorrectly indexed our postcode which means that people are being told that they have arrived at their destination whilst they are still on the M1.

As a result we are recommending that rather than typing our postcode into your SatNav system that you input our road name "Grahame Park Way". If this does not work we suggest putting in the postcode NW9 5QW which will direct you to the small industrial estate that is located next to the Museum.
