Jordans Mill

Explore our beautiful Mill gardens with their crops of cereals, fruits and vegetables growing alongside ornamental flowers and plants (which can all be grown at home), and enjoy the wildlife and tranquillity of our meadow and woodland.

Our Mill Meadow teems with wildflowers in the summer and is grazed by our resident sheep in the winter. It’s a great place for younger visitors to let off steam and spot wildlife, or take a rest on one of our benches and enjoy the view. Next to the meadow, our woodland area is specially designed to attract wildlife with its woodpiles, birdboxes and even an insect hotel! Follow our log path through the trees, look out for our teepee and beehives, or have a go at the throw a cone game.

As the Mill Gardens, meadow and woodland shift and change with the seasons there is always something new to enjoy, and admission into the meadow and woodland, like our gardens, is free of charge.

Opening Times

Riverside Cafe (indoor & outdoor dining) is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 4pm.

The Mill Gardens, Meadow and Woodland is Open Daily: 7 Days a Week - 9am to 4pm.
