Mindful Sport for Young People

The Mindful Sport programme aims to improve the mental health of people in the community through social physical activity sessions.  Mindful Sport is designed to be open and inclusive, and no diagnosis is required.

Sport and physical activity encourage positivity, stimulate brain activity and contribute to good health.

The activities help people who may be experiencing anxiety, stress, depression and other similar conditions. No diagnosis is required. The session is designed to be inclusive and supportive.

The sessions for young people (12-18) take place every Tuesday (Term time) at John Bunyan Sports and Fitness between 4pm and 5.30pm.

£3 max cost - whether you do one activity or a little bit of all three.

Take part for as long as you wish to or feel comfortable doing so. CAMHs staff will be on hand in the café to offer support to participants and parents.

Signposting to other support services is available on site.
