Kymbrook Primary School

Our vision is to work in partnership with families to unlock the potential of every individual. Together, we nurture a self-belief and a lifelong passion for learning.'

Our Federation Vision Statement was created by staff and governors, in partnership with our children and their parents/carers.

We are a small rural school situated in the idyllic village of Keysoe within easy reach of Bedford and surrounding villages of Bolnhurst, Colmworth, Great and Little Staughton.

Our modern facilities combine well with the original Victorian building and we are particularly fortunate in having a large playing field and large modern hall.

The school is maintained by the Local Authority and caters for the age range of 4-11 years with a Pre-School on site for children from 2 years old. Most of the pre-school pupils then transfer in to Reception.  We can provide wrap around care via the Pre-School from 8am until 6:00pm, as required.

At Kymbrook Primary, all Staff and Governors endeavour to provide the best education possible for each individual child’s needs and abilities. In addition, we are very proud of our ethos and values.

We believe that the school is more than just the curriculum that we provide for your child. We ensure that our children have a safe, secure and happy time in school helping them to grow morally, spiritually, physically as well as academically.

The school enjoys good support from the community with visits from the local clergy.

There is an active group of parents who run the ‘Friends of Kymbrook’ committee who play an important part in the life of the school, both fundraising and developing the links with other parents
