Penny Rae Ferguson- Childminder

I am NNEB Nursery Nurse qualified with many years experience, caring and supporting children from birth to 8 years. I have also worked as a private nanny in London, Bedford, day nurseries and a Montessori nursery school. I am experienced with children with special needs also.

As part of my job role I work closely with the children's parents sharing information on a regular basis about what their child has been doing each day and sending pictures of the activities they have participated in. This will also promote independence and confidence to explore and learn, offering a wealth of learning opportunities and fun!

I live in a 4 bedroom house in Bedford with a large, fully enclosed garden.
I provide a wide range of free play and planned activities for the children from arts and crafts and messy play, sand and water, to muddy puddle jumping and weekly outings to local playgroups, drop in groups and to Jungle Jim's soft play.

We also go on seasonal visits to the Zoo, visit Father Christmas and to local parks.
I work in partnership with my daughter Kim and regularly meet up with other childminders to enable the children to form lovely friendships with a wider group of children.

All the children in my care enjoy the fun, happy, loving, clean and safe environment I provide.

I am first aid qualified and have a full clean UK driving licence.

I am a confident, fun and  a bubbly person who is loving and caring. I love working with children and babies and think of my job as an extended family.
