Auntie Ruth's Childminding

Response to COVID-19

Are you open for keyworkers children and vulnerable children?

Are you willing to accept children from other providers?

I hold a Foundation Degree in Early Years and a BA Degree in Early Years and Early Years Professional Status. I am NCMA registered and fully insured. I recieved and Outstanding grading in all areas in my recent Ofsted inspection for the second time. I am very flexible to each childs individual needs. In my spare time I am a volunteer Rainbow Guider.

I am willing to accommodate special dietary requirements and religions and cultures. I regularly visit the local childminding groups and toddler groups. Children in my care are given the opportunity to choose activities to encourage play to aid development in all areas. My home is loving and caring. I have a spacious house with a large garden.

I take my job very seriously and the most important thing to me is the child's happiness. Each child is treated individually and I fit in with their usual routine as much as possible. I keep diaries and scrap books for parents. I am a member local network which monitors my standards and practice.

I have gained the Under 5's Healthy Eating Award. I have been childminding since the year 2000 and have numerous references for parents to follow up. I have never received a complaint about my services.

I work closely with parents sharing information daily to benefit the child. I provide daily diaries informing them of their child’s care, learning and development, I also provide a termly newsletter and consult parents when producing new policies.
