Standalone Farm - Letchworth

We are open each day, Monday- Sunday, from 10am- 5pm. Tickets can be booked online by clicking here or in person at Standalone Farm and Annual Passholders do not need to pre-book.

Our open season is between February and October. We close during the winter months to carry out important maintenance and look after our animals.

How accessible is Standalone Farm?

We’ve worked hard to make as much of our farm as easily accessible as possible. We are a working farm and some areas may have uneven or muddy terrain, especially in the winter months. We have step free access to the main building, gift shop, Greenway Café and courtyard. There are disabled toilets onsite, located just outside the shop as you enter. We offer disabled parking bays and our staff are on hand to help.

For our hearing-impaired customers, we have installed a hearing loop system in the Greenway Café and gift shop.

Visitors with a disability and carers can enter Standalone Farm for free, when they show photographic proof. Please email info@standalonefarm.com if you have any questions.

Do you have disabled facilities onsite?

Yes, we have a disabled toilet located just outside the shop as you enter.

What do I need to bring to prove my disability?

We accept HAND cards, carer cards, and any form of photographic proof. Please email info@standalonefarm.com for further clarification.

Is there car parking?

We’re just over three miles drive away from A1(M) junction 10, clearly marked on road signs off the A507. Our postcode is SG6 4JN. Free car parking is available on our farm.

Review by The Bedford Mum on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/TheBedfordMum/

Standalone Farm isn’t the biggest or the most polished farm we’ve been to, but it was definitely one of our favourites. Especially for the little ones. They have all the farm animals you would expect - sheep, alpacas, pigs, chickens - which was great.

And it definitely had that authentic farm feel, with mud and tractors and a bubbling brook. But it was the little touches that we enjoyed more than anything.

Watch out for the hidden fairy trail around the sheep field, which my 5 year old loved spotting. And the huge Thomas train track, with its own mini farm, which my 2 year old made us stand next to for what felt like hours (remember to bring some 20p for this).

There are loads of picnic tables and a huge space for little ones to run around.
