Early Help - Bedford Borough Parenting team Coronavirus update

The Early Help Service remains operational during the Covid-19 pandemic, albeit with restricted capacity and provision.  We are continuing to work creatively during this period to ensure families most in need are able to access a range of support through various mediums such as online, telephone and video call.

Who are we?

We are part of the Early Help team who deliver evidence based programmes and groups.

What do we do?

We deliver and support families to attend and complete various programmes and groups for both parents and young people , We offer evidence based programmes which are recognised as enabling families to make sustainable positive changes, such as;

Webster Stratton Incredible Years SEN

A 10 week programme for parents of children who have additional needs (including Autism, ADHD, ASD and neurological difficulties) aged 3 to 9 years

Strengthening Families (10-14)

A 6 week programme for parents and children to attend together, which supports families to resolve family conflict, offers strategies to support young people to make positive choices and decisions and good choices and support parents to manage behaviour
