Catchpoint
Trauma informed and holistic therapeutic service supporting children and families who are adversely affected by developmental trauma.
Catchpoint follows a model of therapy, which focuses on the parent/child relationship, addressing the effects of infant trauma which has caused insecure or disorganised attachment patterns. Parents and carers are considered partners in the programme of recovery and are included in each therapy session.
We work with children that have experienced complex trauma (including pre-birth trauma) that cause difficulties with self-regulation, social integration, sense of self-worth, trust and resilience.
Services include;
- free consultation
- creative therapy sessions (art, music, play, dance & drama)
- therapeutic network meetings
- school consultations
- creative life story work
