Competition where children aged 8 and above with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and life limiting illnesses can take part and create their own chocolate.
Creating Memories is a local charity that helps to make the wishes of life limiting children come true locally. Due to covid we are unable to make that happen at the moment, so we are creating projects where we can reach many children within our cohort and provide joy for many.
Please check us out on Facebook @creatingmemoriesuk to see all the work we have carried out locally including the Colourful path of joy and the mural of joy, which if the children have not seen i would encourage them to come and see it as it is beautiful, colourful, uplifting and local as it is on Beatrice Street on my house. You can't miss it.
So we have teamed up with Bedfordshire's own artisan Chocolatier Aneesh Popat and we have put together this competition where children aged 8 and above with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and life limiting illnesses can take part and create their own chocolate. The children will be able to name, decide the ingredients along with the packaging of their chocolate on the attached entry form.
6 winners will be selected by the esteem judges, The Chocolatier himself -Aneesh Popat, Michelin star chef Jean Christophe-Novelli and myself the founder of Creating Memories. The winners will be able to visit the chocolate factory in Sandy and make chocolate with The Chocolatier when restrictions allow. This is a very exciting opportunity for the children and all those that take part will receive a bar of chocolate along with a certificate of thanks for taking part, so it is vital that the children complete all the fields on the entry form as the chocolate will be delivered to the schools they attend to be distributed.
Please contact Pritti Saggi to obtain a poster along with entry forms and terms and conditions.
